Tea varieties will again be provided by tea master Sarah Glidden of Bones & Botanicals along with a tea sandwich menu, including assorted scones and pastries by Kouign Bakery.
In addition, our event will showcase some items from our recent collaboration with the Wallingford Public Library, “Women & Fashion in the Gilded Age” and, in keeping with our Victorian and Gilded Age themes, there will be opportunities for tea leaf and palm readings. Spiritualism, the belief that the dead can communicate with the living, became a fad throughout America and Europe during the 1850s, attracting individuals from all social classes. Queen Victoria herself used mediums to try to contact her beloved late husband, Prince Albert, after he died in 1861. While we cannot promise a spectral appearance by Franklin Johnson, we can promise that a spectacular time will be had by all.
Pre-sales have started and space is limited. Please register by emailing kay@ctliquorlaw.com or call 203 774-5002.
