​​​Normal Museum Hours and Admissions

​The American Silver Museum/Johnson Mansion is open by appointment-only during the winter months. From April to December, we are open to the public on one Sunday afternoon per month plus special events as advertised. The Royce House is currently open by appointment only. Please contact us to arrange a private visit for you or your group. 

 Admission is free but the Trust appreciates all donations which will be used for upcoming programs and for the maintenance of the two houses.

Enjoy the one and a half mile walk from the American Silver Museum/Johnson Mansion to the Royce House; the properties are at opposite ends of Main Street.

​While taking your walk, you will pass the perimeter of the Choate Rosemary Hall campus on the east and many historic homes and businesses in between.

 Have lunch at one of the wonderful restaurants in the center of Wallingford.

Take a turn west onto Center Street and continue to the bottom of the hill if you would like to visit the historic Center Street Cemetery.
